Dewey and Comenius lived in different times. They are outstanding educators. And their teaching theories had a common understanding in promoting teaching democracy. They all criticize the non-democratic nature of traditional education characterized by "control" and publicize democratic teaching centered on "liberating" students. From "control" to "liberation", it is the only way for teaching democratization.
