摘要

Exploitation suitability assessment of uninhabited islands, an important part of the islands is of great significance to the scientific development of island economy. The uninhabited islands in Zhuhai are taken as the research object and uninhabited islands development suitability evaluation index system is put forward based on the remote sensing data and combined with the socio-economic statistical material and fieldwork methods. The index system is made up of ecological protection and economic development of two target layers. The ecological protection target layer consists of three criteria layers, habitat protection, environmental quality and ecological fragility and the economic development target layer consists of six criteria layers, space resources, biological resources, renewable energy, tourism resources, freshwater resources and regional development conditions. These nine criteria layers contains 28 dimensionless indicators. The results on exploitation suitability assessment of uninhabited islands including two aspects, the suitability degree and the suitable development type, is reached through constructing the AHP evaluation model and comprehensive evaluation model.
