This study focuses on designing a thermos, which holds both high temperature (hot) and low temperature (cold) liquids and used the temperature difference present to interface thermoelectric generator (TEG). The study is used generated energy to power up mobile devices, specifically mobile phones. The study's purpose for the prototype is to be able to discover alternative energy sources for ever-growing need for renewable energy sources. The thermos prototype is made of ready-made materials having two glass bottles as inner container and a PVC pipe as its outer walls. This prototype model had vacuum insulated to prevent heat dissipation. 20 TEGs were connected in series-parallel that feeds a booster with enough electrical energy for thirty minutes which starts as soon as liquids with different temperature is poured into it. According to low output current, a single battery had been charged for long time depended on its rating. The generated electrical energy is recommended to store in a power bank. The waste heat from the thermos was converted into electrical energy by using thermoelectric generator and to charge a battery using the generated electrical energy was achieved.
