Renewable energy sources have gained momentum in the current trends of effective power generation to overcome global warming due to the pollution caused by existing power generating system. The renewable power will also meet the future demand when existing fuel will be exhausted. Solar power is considerably preferred on account of its easy availability all year round. In this paper, a very efficient way of generating grid quality power from solar power has been presented. For achieving high efficiency, solar DC power is directly converted through high frequency PWM switching based inverter to grid power eliminating any buck-boost power converter stage. MPPT controlled has been implemented in the inverter itself in the process DC to AC conversion. The basic inverter unit is designed at 3KW level to optimize efficiency. The inverter is based on transformer less design along with other high MTBF components resulting reliability, longevity and efficiency to a peak value. Output power boosting is achieved by adding number of 3KW inverters in parallel at the AC output side in an N+l configuration. This configuration further improves the overall performance compared to a single high power inverter as far as MTBT, shading and power enhancing point of view is considered.
