Separation anxiety is a common cause of behavioural consultations. Destructive behaviours, house-soiling or vocalisation can be observed by the owners after return or reported by neighbours. However, there is a wide range of differential diagnoses foreach of these behaviours. The aim of the study was to evaluate the usefulness of the urine cortisolxreatinine ratio as an assessment tool in these cases.
