The 6~(th) International Symposium on Earth Hazard and Disaster Mitigation (ISEDM) 2016 was held on 11-12 October 2016 at CCRS Hall of Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), Bandung-Indonesia. The symposium is hosted by the Graduate Research on Earthquake and Active Tectonics, Faculty of Earth Science and Technology - Institute of Technology Bandung (ITB). The aim of the symposium is to bring together knowledge of earth-hazard and disaster risk reduction from multidisciplinary subject such as seismology, geodesy, geology, meteorology, oceanography, civil engineering, and environmental science.
