摘要

The aim of considered research is to establish the influence of climatic conditions on biodegradation kinetics of biocomposites based on low-density polyethylene and vegetable fillers. It was found out that there was a small difference between the values of weight loss rates obtained from different biodegradation tests for 6 months. The degradation rate in Costa Rica is higher than in Russia. Biodegradation rate in laboratory conditions had the medium value because of the same temperature but lower precipitation than in Costa Rican natural conditions.
