Acoustic emission technology is widely applied in Pressure vessel detection, high pressure cylinder detection, and mechanical properties of materials researching. In order to study the fatigue damage characteristics of high pressure cylinder materials, the acoustic emission signals of high pressure cylinder materials were analyzed based on different notched size samples. The experimental results show that the energy of the acoustic emission signal increases with the notch tip radius, and increases with the depth of the notch. When the crack reaches a certain depth, or the radius of the notch tip is small enough, high pressure gas cylinder material within a short period of time will crack propagation.
