摘要

Cor triatriatrum dexter (CTD) is a rare congenital heart defect characterized by an anomalous membrane dividing the right atrial chamber into two separate, cranial and caudal subchambers. The cranial subchamber represents the true right atrium and directly communicates with the auricular appendage and tricuspid valve and typically the cranial vena cava. The caudal chamber represents the fetal sinus venarum and communicates directly with the caudal vena cava. The coronary sinus may enter either atrialchamber. Although rare, the cranial vena cava may enter into the caudal chamber.1 The anomalous membrane may be perforate or imperforate and obstructs caudal vena caval blood flow into the right ventricle. The membrane may reside close to the ostium ofthe caudal vena cava or within the mid-portion of the right atrium in close proximity to the tricuspid valve. The membrane has been described as fibrous to fibromuscular in nature and covered by endocardium.
