Research Status of Harvesting Machines for MedicinalFlowers

The demand for medicinal flowers is increasing sharply, but due to the limitation of complex growth characteristics of crops, the harvesting technology of medicinal flowers is still a research difficulty. There are many kinds and shapes of medicinal flowers. Therefore, the research on medicinal flowers harvesting machinery is limited to chrysanthemum, safflower, honeysuckle and hops. In the early stage, medicinal flowers harvesters studied at home and abroad were all pure mechanical. Later, thanks tothe development of sensor technology and computer technology, automatic control was gradually applied. This paper summarizes the research status of medicinal flowers harvesters at home and abroad, introduces the basic structure of typical medicinal flowers harvesters, summarizes the key technologies involved in medicinal flowers harvesters, and points out the existing problems, providing a basis for the future development ofmedicinal flowers harvesters.
