摘要

There are roughly 400 fatal farm accidents per year in Japan. One of the leading cause of fatal accidents is tractor overturning. Among the fatal farm accidents, tractor overturning during turning on the farm road is a typical example of the accidents. The sudden sideslip and excessive vibrations are assumed to have significant effects on this overturning accidents. It is thus necessary to develop the mechanical model including the sideslip and excessive vibrations which is capable of demonstrating the overturning accidents. In the present study, the tractor bicycle model with ride vibration is developed and the numerical experiments using the developed model is conducted. Based on the numerical results, the sideslip phenomenon during tractor turning is discussed.
