In this paper, we used microwave to detect the effect of different sizes of blood blocks on the transmission coefficient(S21). Two spherical bleeding targets of 7.5mm and 10mm radius were inserted inside the putamen. In this paper, the results of both with and without blood blocks were subtracted from each other to compare the effects of blood volume. The simulation results show that when the bleeding volume becomes large, the influence on the amplitude and phase of the transmission coefficient also become large. Then, the correctness of the simulation results was verified by experiments. In addition, the field distribution graph of the antenna inside the brain was given. The field distribution results show that the electromagnetic wave emitted by the transmitting antenna can be received by the receiving antenna after passing through the brain.
