摘要

The booming computer science not only promotes the improvement of productivity, but also stimulates many new approaches of thinking. In order to analyze the role of recycling companies in circular economy, an agent-based model, containing the environment, manufacturing companies and recycling companies, is created on NetLogo platform. Each agent has their own behavior rules which are in line with the reality. All the agents, including manufacturing and recycling companies, constantly interact with each other in the environment. The results reflect the great importance of recycling companies. They alleviate the shortage of resources by converting some waste into recycled resources. When the resources provided by the environment are non-renewable, the recycling companies can prolong the life cycle of the manufacturing companies. When the environmental resources can be regenerated, the existence of recycling companies make manufacturing companies achieve better development in the long run. Considering of the great and positive effects exerted by recycling companies in the circular economy, measures such as subsidies should be taken to encourage their development. It is of great significance to alleviate the contradiction between economic development and resource shortage by promoting the cooperation among the manufacturing companies and recycling companies.
