The Criminal Procedure Code has a title that includes specific procedural rules which derogate from the common provisions on the conduct of criminal proceedings. The special rules, derogating from the common law exists for dealing with cases of juvenile criminals, both for the criminal prosecution and for the court. However, we note that diminish them, indicating that this trend, should not affect the structure and effects of criminal procedure important institutions, such as the right to defense.Specific reference is made in the article on the assessment report and the presence of juvenile accused at the trial.
