摘要

Self-Piercing Riveting (SPR) connect strength which to extend the fatigue life have been researched for a long time, but the effect is not obvious. The SPR fatigue failure mechanism and reasons was research and the fatigue life calculation in the different stages was summarized, then the distinction among the different models of SPR fatigue life was analyzed especially. Finally a fracture mechanics of the SPR connect applications was introduced to improve the fatigue life of SPR.
