In order to solve the problem about eccentric-wear of suck-rods in the polymer-flooding directional wells, the force acting on the rod was analyzed, the differential equation and calculation formula about sucker-rod deflection were established, the causes and preventing measures about eccentricwear of the suck-rods were given, and a method was also proposed to optimize the centralizer. Results show that radial load is the main factor of the eccentric-wear, eccentric-wear usually occurred in stage of big slope segment, which should take measures of centralizer encryption.
