Taking Tibetan undergraduates as subject, the study shows that the error rate of semantic coherent judgment between the second language and the third language is lower than that between the native language and the third language, and indicates Tibetan undergraduates learn English by means of Chinese. Based on ERP signals, it is more difficult for word processing than sound processing in semantic comprehension and it is more difficult to judge English-Tibetan materials than English-Chinese materials Besides, the English prime words increase the difficulty for the comprehension of target words.
