In order to find the impact and accumulation characteristic in the growing process of typical vegetables polluted by Pb, we used pot experiments, planted leaf vegetables in soil with different Pb content, to explore the effect of vegetables seeds sprouting, growing and its fresh weight and transformation after being harvested with different Pb content. The results show that 1) with Pb content (0 50 mg) of experiment conditions, heavy metals have no apparent inhibition of budding of pakchoi, but it has significantly inhibited budding of swamp cabbage and inhibition becomes serious with the Pb content increased. 2) The growth rate, fresh weight and apparent characters of vegetables was significantly inhibited by different Pb content. 3) Pb accumulation content is proportional to the dosage consumption of Pb, and swamp cabbage has a stronger enrichment ability than pakchoi.
