Based on input-output model, it gave the quantitative analysis of the contribution rate and the change between sports industry and economic growth from 2000 to 2010, and put forward the corresponding policy recommendations. The results show that the contribution rate to economic growth of sports industry was low and in long-term stagnation; the contribution rate to the second industry and the third industry was slowly going up, and the industry structure was not reasonable.
