摘要

The purpose of this work is to develop a macroscopic model able to represent the behaviour and the failure of the adhesive joints under crash loading. The model parameters are identified from an original approach using both experimental data and numerical simulation carried out from a fine modelling of the adhesive (mesoscopic model). Tests on bulk specimens are used for the behaviour identification whereas tests on assemblies are used for failure identification. The proposed model is validated through a multi-material substructure under complex dynamic loading. The good agreement between the experimental data and the numerical simulations highlights the accuracy of the developed model for adhesive modelling.
