The vibration frequencies of molecular ions have been determined by PFI-ZEKE spectroscopy and optical spectroscopy of trapped molecular ion or ion beam, which are still challenging task nowadays.1, 2 In this study, we conduct pump-probe measurements of the ionization processes of CD3OD using intense near infrared few-cycle laser pulses and record the delay-time dependence of the yield of CD3OD~+. We show that the Fourier transform of the ion yield is a promising method for determining vibrational mode frequencies of molecular cations with high precision.
