摘要

Given the growing demand of highly purified H2 (>99.9%), a conceptual novel strategy has been awaited for the production and purification of H2. Herein, we propose a molecular- based strategy to produce H2 of 100% purity, which was demonstrated by the development of a combined system comprising the hydrogenation of N-heteroaromatics under the crude H2 atmosphere and the subsequent dehydrogenation from the hydrogenated product, both of which are catalyzed by main-group elements.
