The question of a risk management of R&D works is considered within the present article. It is given critical evaluation to the existing modern approaches of identification and assessment of risks in this field of activity. It is offered the technique for indirect effective identification and assessment of risks allowing to minimize a share of negative results in the course of initiation and performance of research and development.
