摘要

Using the proportionality relationship between the forward angle (p, n) cross section and the reduced transition probability B(GT), the |J_(στ) (q = 0)| values have been deduced for recent (p, n) reaction data on ~(14)Be at E_p = 69.4 MeV and for existing data on ~(12)C at various incident energies. A discussion was made on the energy dependence of |J_(στ)(q = 0)| and on mutual consistency between the values for ~(14)Be and ~(12)C.
