Effect of Pressure Treatment on the Structure and Properties of Sintered Bronze

The behavior of sintered copper alloys under the compressive treatment was studied. It was found that the compression of samples of a single-phase sintered alloy Cu-15at%Al with the purpose of their densification and structural modification can be performed to a greater degree of deformation. The increase of compaction temperature reduces the operating pressure, but the densification of the material weakly correlates with this operative parameter and proceeds in a more complicated manner.
