The fluvial sandbodies can be characterized as reservoirs with sufficiently high petrophysical properties. However connectivity of these bodies is very uncertain that make difficult the forecast of reservoir's spatial distribution. There are some factors that have influence on connectivity and hence recovery factor which are controlled by geometry of channel, i.e. width and thickness of channel and its ratio (aspect ratio), amplitude and wavelength. This paper will demonstrate the creation of analytical approach based on the statistical analysis. It allows to evaluate the influence of key fluvial parameters on recovery factor for horizontal wells patterns. For achievement of this purpose a number of geological realizations with variation of key geometry parameters of fluvial channel were carried out. The creation of recovery factor dependence equations from key components of fluvial system were performed by using multiple regression method which allowed combining several variables in one equation. The obtained equations could be useful at stage of development of fluvial reservoirs and even fluvial or tidal dominated delta, where analogous distributary channels often meet. It means by using these equations there is an opportunity to make forecast at qualitative level about expected recovery factor at known variation of channels and its geometry.
