Analysis of End-user Satisfaction of Zoom Application for Online Lectures

Zoom is one of application to communicate via audio and visual. It can be downloaded for free from Google Play Store and is widely used for academic purposes during pandemic COVID-19. Zoom makes it easier for both student and lecturer to do online learning via teleconference. However, some of students not only using zoom but also using google meet, Microsoft team, etc. Therefore, for this research we need to know the end user satisfaction that focus on zoom users. This research has aim to analyze end-user satisfaction of Zoom using Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) and End User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) methods. Both of methods is popular for analyzing end user satisfaction. The sampling technique using simple random sampling with the number of respondents are 97 from Universitas Amikom Purwokerto students. The data processing is using SPSS version 25. The results show that all variables of UTAUT which are Performance Expectancy, Effort Expectancy, Social Influence, and Facilitating Conditions are influences to student’s satisfaction. Meanwhile, the EUCS variables which influences the student’s satisfaction are only accuracy and timeliness variables. In addition, the variable that has no effect are Content, Format, and Ease of Use. Overall, the UTAUT method is better than EUCS method based on three criterions which are number of variables which have influences to user satisfaction, the average of satisfaction percentage, and R-square value.
