摘要

CPB is essential in construction project management in order to avoid credit risk of contractors by extending third parties' credit as well as supervision to promote contractor's performance. Whether construction sureties (CS) are able to handle risks is of significant value for contractors' performance. This paper firstly points out the worrisome legal foundation for CSRP. Secondly, by using the method of risk analysis, it analyzes CS's 14 risk situations based on 4 legal risk variations. Finally, the paper provides appropriate 6 improvement measures of CS's legally uncontrolled risk situations in the perspective of CPB by normative research method with reference to US CSRP rules so as to advance the progress of construction project management.
