摘要

The research work is carried out to investigate the heat transfer rate in heat sink by varying the geometry of the fins and considering air as the working fluid. Analysis for heat-sink will be calculated by considering Reynolds number of 800. Heat sink fin geometries such as square and hexagonal shapes are considered. Fluent analysis is carried out for various conditions. Various parameters are determined for various materials like aluminum 7475 and copper. The total heat sink system is modeled in CATIA. ANSYS Fluent is used for the analysis.
