摘要

The Tanlu (Tancheng-Lujiang) fault, which is located in East China, extends through Viohai gulf to the Northeast, then divides into two faults i.e. the Jiayi and Dunmi. The faults developed into rifts in Early Tertiary. Larger deep water rock series exist mainly in Luobei-Tangyuan, Fangzheng, Shulan-Yitong as well as other deep fault depressions of Jiayi rift. The inversion took place in Oligocene Epoch and different kinds of inversed structures were formed at the end of Oligocene. According to the control action of the taphrogeny and inversion on oil, gas and coal, the working thought was raised to prospect coal mainly in the Dunmi fault and to prospect coal at the shallow level of the Jiayi fault, while to research for oil and gas at the deep level of the Jiayi fault.
