The advances in the design of the hydraulic components for primary crushers have led to the increased flexibility of these plants. By combining these components in the crusher, the homogeneity of the material flow is clearly improved and the demands on the blending operation significantly reduced. Any fluctuations in the initial moisture content can be handled by the crusher heating system. In conclusion, it can be said that impact crushers used in the limestone primary crushing role generate a high-quality product for the cement manufacturing industry. Thanks to the minimum maintenance requirements, a high degree of plant availability is achieved.
