摘要

The nuclear safety cultural competency model should be supplemented through a bottom-up approach such as a behavioral event interview. The developed model, however, is meaningful for determining what should be dealt with for enhancing the safety cultural competency of nuclear organizations. Safety leadership and followership should be dealt with simultaneously in terms of strengthening nuclear safety culture. For the first safety in nuclear organizations, safety leadership and followership might be developed by continuous coaching and training according to the intended behavioral styles for the safety-first in operating nuclear power plants. More details of the development process, results, and applications will be introduced in the conference hall.
