摘要

In this paper, a discontinuous Galerkin time domain method based on the Helmholtz wave equation for 3D electro-magnetic analysis is proposed. To demonstrate the good performance of proposed method, we compare its performance with wave equation based finite element time domain (FETD-WE) method and the Maxwell's equation based DGTD (DGTD-ME) method. The presented method also shows the energy conservation and has the optimal convergence rate of O(h~(p+1)). Numerical examples depict the its validity, versatility and potential in 3D transient electromagnetic analysis.
