Strategies of Teaching Model in Visual FoxPro Database System Course

摘要

Visual FoxPro database system course is a required course of economics and management major in our university. According to the needs of this curriculum reform, being combined with the modern teaching methods and network technology, this paper proposes the reform strategies in this course from the teachers and teaching textbook configuration, teaching content, teaching methods, and assessment methods. We explicitly point out that the new teaching model is to change from emphasizing theory teaching to practical teaching, from classroom teaching to network platform teaching, from paper testing to non-paper machine testing. Reform results show that the reform strategies can improve the teaching effect, increase the students' interest in learning, and enhance their independent operation ability to solve practical problems. The reform of teaching model in this course is warmly welcomed by students.
