Design of Experiments (DOE) is a useful tool to analyze data for processes and systems within the manufacturing industry. The motivation of this study is to introduce how service sector data can be handled and analyzed by utilizing DOEs. First, designing an experiment will be separated into two phases: planning the experiment and analyzing the expe experiment. From analyzing the experiment, five statistical analysis methods for handling service sector data will be introduced: constraining the data, data transformations, linear regression, and generalized linear models.
