摘要

Atypical application scenario related to the Internet of Things consists of smart sensing devices collecting and transmitting measurement data from their surroundings to a back-end. Efficiently deploying such devices on the field for the purposes of such applications is not a trivial task. Deployment of current IoT and sensor solutions on the field are often time consuming and inconvenient. Setup and configuration of both wireless and wired solutions require know-how, training and time from the person carrying out the deployment of the devices. In order for the rising amount of IoT-based solutions to break into wider usage, a solution for quick and easy deployment is needed that is both easy-to-understand and configuration free. In this work, a proposed solution for rapid deployment of IoT devices is prototyped and presented.
