摘要

The Micro-strip Loaded Inset Dielectric Waveguide has been proposed as a transmission medium of microwave and millimeter wave[2]. Because of its wide band of working frequencies, analyzing such a structure at every interested point is rather time-consuming. In this article, the model of the structure is given. On the basis of this mode, FDTD method is successfully applied nad a tme-domain solution is obtained, from which the features in frequency-domain can be derived easily. The resutls are also compared to the resutls obtaiend by a space domain method -- Transverse Resonance Diffraction method[2].
