At present several techniques are under development coupling fluid and structural analysis codes. This paper describes an approach for nonconforming grids using a weak form of the continuity conditions on the common interface. Emphasis is given to the iterative solution and some computational details. Examples show the necessity of such techniques for a proper air- and spacecraft design.
