Laboratory experiments on reduction of FeO in molten slag using plasma reactor, sessile drop technique and induction furnace have been carried out. Progressive reduction of FeO in slag was studied by chemical analysis and foamed slag height was measured. A comparison of reduction and foaming behaviour in different systems has been reported.
