PURPOSE: To prevent the stickness and the growth of dust contained in gas to an inner wall of the gas flow passage for introducing exhaust gas generated in a smelting reduction furnace in smelting reduction iron-making equipment into a pre-reduction furnace while restraining temp. drop of the exhaust gas to the min. ;CONSTITUTION: A small quantity of cooling gas is supplied from a gas supplying part A formed in a gas flow passage wall surface so that the supplied gas flows only along the gas flow passage wall surface, and by this cooling gas, the gas flow passage wall surface is cooled. At this time, the cooling gas is supplied from the gas supplying part A formed continuously or intermittently in the peripheral direction of the gas flow passage wall surface. Further, as the cooling gas is supplied, by arranging a concentrical tubular body in the inner side of the duct 5, annular slits are formed between the tubular body and the inner wall of the duct so as to flow a filmy cooling gas flow along the inner wall of the duct toward the exhaust gas flowing direction from the annular slits.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
