PURPOSE: To provide the structure of a gas flow passage, in which the sticking of dusts in the gas to the wall surface of the gas flow passage can be prevented while restraining the sensible heat loss of the exhaust gas generated in a smelting reduction furnace to min. ;CONSTITUTION: By composing the gas flow passage from an outer tube 4, an inner tube 5 forming a coolant flow passage between the outer tube and the inner tube and the heat insulating coated material 7 lined on the inner tube and changing the thermal conductivity and/or the thickness in the longitudinal direction of the gas flow passage and constituting the thickness having thicker or the material having lower thermal conductivity as coming to the downstream side of the gas flow passage, the cooling capacity in the inner surface of the gas flow passage is constituted so as to be smaller as coming to the downstream side of the gas flow passage.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
