Our work demonstrated the potential for dielectric impedance spectroscopy of the materials at ultrahigh pressure. It is evident, that this method opens new ways of explorations of materials. In particular, it is possible to separate the contributions from the bulk sample, phase boundaries and electrode contacts. The contribution of contacts and intrinsic boundaries to the measured characteristics (both optical, and electrical) can be considerable. These are especially important in connection with thin samples.
