The new approach for analysis of steel construction biocorrosion with using of thin film metal matrixes (TFMM) is discussed. With the help of TFMM, it is possible to study the activities of the sulphate reducing bacteria and their metabolism products, and to determin quantitative indicators of their aggressiveness and effectiveness of various inhibitors as well.
