摘要

A numerical method for the solution of the Euler or the Navier-Stokes equations in the case of a FPSO hull section subject to roll motions is presented. The method is first validated in the case of oscillating flow past a vertical plate, and then applied in the case of a hull section without or with bilge keels which is subject to roll motions. Preliminary results for the effect of the bilge keel size on the hydrodynamic coefficients of the hull are presented.
