摘要

A number of studies have shown that knowledge management (KM) contributes to organizational effectiveness.In view of the perceived benefits,educators have started applying concepts of KM in their institutes.But how effective is KM in individual post-secondary institutes and what are the factors contributing to KM effectiveness.These questions prompt the interest in pursuing this study.A research model is proposed to evaluate the effects of KM infrastructure and KM processes on the organization's KM effectiveness.The moderating effect of interpersonal trust on the relationship between KM processes and KM effectiveness is also explored.Survey data will be collected from teaching staff of post-secondary institutions in Hong Kong.This study will contribute to the literature by empirically validating the proposed model and its measurement scales in educational setting.
