摘要

A non-contact measuring system for the thread profile parameters of ball screw is developed in this paper. Data of thread profile of ball screw are collected by high precision non-contact displacement sensors in the measuring system. Firstly the left and right arc data are separated from the whole collected data by data preprocessing. Then the center coordinates of the left and right arc and the center coordinates of the ball are obtained by the proposed algorithm. Finally the ball screw geometric parameters and the errors of thread profile can be calculated based on the center coordinates of the ball. Two different kinds of ball screw are tested in this system. The repeatability precision of the measuring system is analyzed by the repeated measuring experiment data. The experiment shows that the measurement system is capable of continuous uninterrupted measurement for multi-thread profile of ball screw, with high precision, high reliability and high stability.
