Skiing stepped in the sports teaching area in recent years, as skiing courses have been provided in some colleges and universities successively. It not only enriches the contents of the physical education, but also changes the status of college winter teaching in Northeast China-"only skate, no skiing". Northeastern University (NEU) locates at Shenyang, a city with cold winter in Liaoning Province. The nature condition is a unique advantage for winter games. Skating and roller-skating, as the feature courses of the physical education in NEU, have lain the foundation for skiing course. We have already done lots of work to carry on this event, and hope to explore some effective teaching methods and model to develop skiing teaching; that is the goal of this subject.
