摘要

This paper starts from the theory of international trade specialization, putting forward a four-level theoretical framework of International R&D specialization, which argues that the four levels of International R&D (Research and Development) specialization are classed according to inter-industries, differentiated products, value chain links and R&D modules. The four affect each other. A country together with its economic entities' status of International R&D specialization is determined by its position of International R&D specialization at these four different levels. On that basis, this paper analyses the revelation International R&D specialization brings to developing countries.
