Co Coronal mass ejections are spectacular manifestations of solar activity in which 10+15 ronal –10+16 g of solar material are propelled outward into interplanetary space. Coronal Mass Ejections (CMEs) are large, energetic expu expul- lsions of mass and magnetic fields from t sions the Sun. CMEs can significantly affect large volume of the heliosphere and he appear to be a key cause of geomagnetic storms. CMEs cause depressions in the cosmic ray intensity both locally when an observer is inside the interplanetary structure and remotely i if the structure is energetic enough to create an f interplanetary shock to which the observer is magnetically connected. The goal of this study was to determine the di dis- stribution of various forms of solar activity that were spatially and temporally associated tribution with mass ejections during solar minimum phase. We have studied the influence of CMEs on solar and geomagnetic activity. It is noted that these CMEs do not produce significant effects on geomagnetic activity. The study suggests that maximum probability of geomagnetic disturbances occurs not on the onset of CME but after few days.
