Development of Pesticide Occupational and Residential Risk Assessment Approaches in China

Basically, all the risk assessment procedures will be consisted of Hazard assessment which was based on toxicological endpoints, exposure assessment which will be described in the following and risk characterization. A Survey on 500 farmers in 16 Provinces, Autonomous Region and Municipalities was conducted to collect information of land scale, type of pesticide application equipment, area treated in a day, application frequency, working time, personal protection equipment, etc. Scenario formulation principle of pesticide handlers was defined with application tool and crop height.
